Painting with Math
Many graphics in our games and animated films are not drawn by hand, but instead "painted" with Math.
Inspired by techniques used in Pixar films, we started teaching students the math behind computer graphics. Many pioneers in computer graphics are highly skilled in math and also deeply passionate about artistic expressions.
To celebrate the national day this year, we worked with a student to create a mathematically animated Singapore flag.
